ChildLine is a helpline for children, no problem is too big or too small. Their friendly counsellors understand the sorts of problems you might be worried about and are trained to help. They won’t judge you or put you down and they are not easily shocked. Instead, they will listen and help talk you through your options.

There are several different ways you can receive support through ChildLine; phone, e-mail or online chat.

Samaritans aims to benefit society by improving people’s emotional health in order to create a greater sense of well being.

Samaritans is a confidential emotional support service for anyone in the UK and Ireland.

The service is available 24 hours a day for people who are experiencing feelings of distress or despair, including those which may lead to suicide.

Shelter is a charity that works to alleviate the distress caused by homelessness and bad housing.


They do this by giving advice, information and advocacy to people in housing need, and by campaigning for lasting political change to end the housing crisis for good.
